By default, Whiplash will attempt to sync inventory level to each e-commerce platform associated with an item.
For instance, if you sell an Item in Bandcamp, we will attempt to update the stock level of the same item in your WooCommerce store.
In some cases, however, you might want to opt out of inventory syncing. Some typical reasons are:
- One platform supports origin(warehouse)-specific stock levels, and the other doesn't
- One platform supports realtime inventory syncing, but the other doesn't
- You only want to allocate a certain amount of stock to a particular platform
You can turn off inventory syncing between Whiplash and individual stores/platforms by going to your integration settings:
Setting Integrations page
And un-setting "Sync inventory levels from Whiplash to X":
Sync Inventories page from integrations settings
You can also turn off all inventory syncing in your Preferences:
Inventory sync option from Preferences
